Overview

I was engaged to build affiliate programs for two new product lines from zero for an enterprise-grade platform managing HR, IT, and finance operations for businesses. There was no existing partner infrastructure in place.

The Problem

Both product lines needed affiliate programs built from scratch — no historical data, no existing partner relationships, and no tracking infrastructure. The programs also needed to integrate with the client's existing Salesforce environment to give Demand Gen real-time visibility into affiliate-sourced pipeline.

What I Did

I designed and launched affiliate programs for both product lines simultaneously, building a diversified partner mix across CPC, PPL, and flat-fee commission models on Impact. I integrated Salesforce data via API into live Google Sheets dashboards for real-time SQL and revenue tracking, and partnered with the Demand Gen team to align affiliate performance with paid campaigns. Publisher recruitment focused on high-intent B2B finance and IT comparison sites, including NerdWallet and SoftwareAdvice.

Results

  • Consistent monthly SQL volume achieved within the first program year

  • 10–12% closed-won rate on affiliate-sourced leads

  • 15+ effective affiliate partners activated across both product lines

  • Established the affiliate infrastructure model for future product line launches
